8th GRADE EAST COAST EXPEDITION

This once in a lifetime educational and character-building trip is open to all students who are in 8th grade at Muirlands Middle School. This year's tour will take students and experienced educators during Spring Break to historic and cultural sites in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Gettysburg and Washington D.C. NatureBridge environmental science programs in Yosemite National Park offers students in 7th grade the opportunity to learn hands-on science in one of the world's most stunning geologic wonders. This five-day residential outdoor science program is led by experienced educators.

All tours are non-school sponsored as defined by San Diego Unified School District. Muirlands Middle School, Muirlands Foundation and SDUSD assume no responsibility or liability. Teacher supervisors are off duty and are not functioning as SDUSD employees. Funding is private/individual payment. Financial scholarships are available though Muirlands Foundation anonymously - only coordinating staff members are aware of which students receive scholarship funds.
All Muirlands tours are organized by either World Expeditions of San Diego or World Strides.
